When creating the app, we collaboratively developed the design of the app by focusing on using strong communication skills to ensure we were on the same page during the entire design process. We also put to use our individual technological strengths to ensure that we would create an app that felt original in design, while still being highly functional.
Quick-Match is a friend finding app designed to help college students connect with each other on their campus quickly and easily. It was designed to find students' matches based on a percentage system, meaning it gives users a list of potential friends within seconds. The percentage system works by giving you a list of potential matches from most to least compatible, allowing you to easily discover matches without having to get out of your comfort zone.
Quick-Match also allows users to find friends through alternative methods such as the event feature. This feature allows students to search and sign up for events matched to their interests. The event also has an attendees list, allowing the user to get to know the attendees prior to the event.
Quick-Match was designed to be an app all students can easily use to find friends no matter were they are!
