Hello! I’m Athira, a visual communication design student at The Ohio State University.
My love for design stems from my art experience over the years. Drawing has always been a natural instinct to me. It provides a source of confidence and comfort, serving as an escape from reality. As a visual learner, I find myself admiring attractive graphics and effective logos in my surroundings. This interest evolved into a curiosity which helped me understand that the world of design is multi-faceted, where creativity is used to find solutions to real-world problems. In the future, I hope to work with branding, packaging, and advertising/marketing design.
Some of my favorite pastimes are visiting art museums, painting, movies and wikipedia rabbit holes! I have two cats named Fifi and Misha and they take up 90 percent of my phone's camera roll :)
